On our way to Palmer, Alaska, we stopped to hike to Thunderbird Falls. It was so lush and green it seemed like we were in a rainforest. It felt so great to be out in the middle of the forest with the only sound of birds, water, and even annoying mosquitos buzzing by your ear.
