January 11th 1949 For the Chinese and many East Asian countries, a month after a baby is born the child is one year old; the point where the child is considered viable, having gone through the highest risk periods of infant mortality with life beginning with conception. All things Tibetan. Bob, from the spelling of your name, you are the son of William D. Carlsen, correct?
You may or may not know that I am working on a history of missions in and around Tibet, focusing on C&MA as well as other missions. I would love to talk with you some time.
