Bangkok ... perhaps not my favourite place in the world!

With the rainy season in full swing I’d expected Bangkok to be unbearably hot and humid, but as I stood outside the airport terminal waiting for the bus to Khaosan Road I was v pleased to find it was neither and passed the time flicking through the guidebook and planning the afternoons sightseeing.
