18 May 2011 We sadly left our perfect spot and continued on our way out of the mountains, through an area of lagoons and the small city of Oristano and onto the mainly flat Sinis Peninsular. There we saw the fifth century church of San Giovanni di Sinis and close by Tharros, a Carthaginian and Roman settlement located on a narrow spit of land protruding into the sea.
