Finally we were leaving for Bangkok. A week in Phnom Penh would have been far too long, but because I was ill for most of it it didn't really matter. My reasoning was if I had to be ill I would much rather do it somewhere I wasn't keen on, at least I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything.
