Borris on the Generator

This is the original generator that was used to power the site. The locals found it too hard to strip when the site was abandoned, so it stayed in place.

When we arrived at Plateliai we went on a guided tour of a decommisioned Russian Nuclear missile facility in the vacinity. This site is not yet fully opened to the public, so we had a guided tour whilst the renovations were on going and saw what they were doing with the site.
