Yak Butter Lamp and Buddha

taken at Sera Monastery (with permission of Monk). The lamps are constantly fed by offerings of yak butter from ordinary tibetans.

The first thing that I notice getting off the plane from Chengdu to Lhasa is that the air is cleaner, cooler and dryer here.
