A lovely sunny day was ideal for going up the Empire State Building, so we did. We were consequently rewarded with wonderful views of the whole of New York City and beyond. The rest of the time was spent taking bus tours of Downtown Manhattan by day and night. The informative and amusing guides increased our knowledge of the city no end.
