International orientation day one was ho-hum, although all orientations are, by law, ho-hum. Too many Americans...out of the 300 people in the room, 225 were Americans. After meeting so many neat foreigners, it was a big culture shock to be face to face with so many of our own kind. We've somehow gotten ourselves into dinner with a few people from UNC and Duke, but blech. Today we watched a she ... read more

I was mooching off Janice's blog, but I decided to start my own, and try my hand at this diary/newsletter/fun thing.(see footnote) I'm at University of Sydney until November, and then New Zealand til December.
