Greetings from Asia! We have made it to HK and the jet-lag is not bad considering the length of flight direct from Vancouver (nearly 15 hours). Our 3 days here has zipped by and we have enjoyed walking around various parts of the city, shopping in markets and eating/drinking some of the local foods and drinks. We are off to Southeast Asia!! It is Svetla's first trip "East", actually west from Canada, and the third time for me. We plan to visit Hong Kong for 3 days, then Indonesia for about 7 weeks before Malaysia and Southern Thailand for the remaining couple of weeks. We are pretty excited (and nervous) but all in all it should be a great adventure and we expect to have fun exploring some exotic areas of this marvelous world.... full info
