Wolf's Pass one more time...

it's so odd because when you get close to the Arizona border it's all cracked, red earth and stone. Don't get me wrong that has its beauty too, but all of a sudden you pucker up and get really, really thirsty driving through so much dry, dry, dry, desolate desert. What a shock after driving near so much water and crisp air.

Kaylene has been talking about wanting to go to school in Colorado for years --- even though we've never been there. Soooo, Fall Break spelled Rocky Mountain Road Trip for us. We checked out campuses in Colorado Springs, Boulder and Fort Collins.
