We arrived in vientianne after a 4hr bus journey from vang vieng. Vientianne was much less of a party town and more about the sight seeing and culture.... so chilled out and laid back for a capital city. We spent our days visiting sights such as Buddha Park, the golden temple and Vientiannes version of arc de triumph.... also exploring the town on our 1960's bicycles.
