Tourist Hotel, Merjerva

This town in Iran, only 5 kms from the Pakistani border, boasts a tourist hotel, but you need to be escorted there and out of it! We arrived here after several hours being escorted to various police check points, having passports checked and after much discussion as to where we should sleep. John and I did have a reservation at this hotel.

Sunday 16 April Yazd was a delightful place to stop and the hotel we eventually found was so peaceful and welcoming.
