Because he felt birthdayish, Dad celebrated his 85th birthday with lunch at the Lowfield Arms, just the other side of Welshpool. They do really nice meals there, and I like the place because none of the furniture matches - some round tables, some rectangular, and lots of different chairs so you can choose a comfy one.
