OK, so Valparaiso failed to live up to our high expectations. Well, we went to Santiago with fairly low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. First of all, our hostel is gorgeous (Los Amazonas on Vicuna McKenna). Around were lots of trees, parks and restaurants.
