Jodphur, James Bond and Rats!
February 3rd 2010 On leaving Pushkar we were headed to Jodphur - the Blue City - so called because many of the houses are painted indigo blue - originally this was to signify the home of a Brahmin (high caste Hindu) but now everyone joins in - apparently the colour is thought to repel insects.
