We left St. Augustine and drove through Palatka, Gainesville and Chiefland on our way to Manatee Springs SP. It's a pretty park, lots of trees and we were greeted by two small deer in the campground. The springs were not as colorful as those at Rainbow Springs, but they had a nice boardwalk than ran down the spring run to the Suwannee River.
