Porters walking up the stone steps

This is a very steep series of steps in the rhododendron forest. We saw many porters carrying huge loads of firewood, bags of rice, food, etc. up this trail.

From Namche, we continued climbing up to Tengboche (3867 meters or 12,690 feet).
