We decided to take a bus to Tehran to see our friend Majid, who we had met in Hamedan, and to try to climb Damavand, Iran’s highest mountain. We are Erika and Robin from Scotland and in April 2005 we quit our jobs and set off to cycle from Scotland to İstanbul.
