New Zealand - described on a tourist ‘T’ shirt as a country in three parts - the North Island, the South Island and the West Island! I’m quite sure the Australians have similar jokes regarding NZ, but despite their similar accents we’ve found NZ and Oz to have quite different cultures. The ethos of this trip is one of 'a life spring clean'. We've sold almost everything we own - house, furniture, car and belongings. We have left our jobs and pooled funds for a world trip -culminating in an extended period in New Zealand where we'll be working (gotta happen sooner or later)! If all goes to plan we'll be spending 4 months in India, 4 months in SE Asia, 4 months in Australia and then as long in New Zealand as the money will allow.... full info
