Our great bus ride ended abruptly when we got to Sape in Sumbawa, this is the port where you catch the ferry across to Labuanbajo in Flores. We'd read that there was a ferry at 8am so when all the people told us it had already gone when we pulled up we thought it was the usual scam of trying to get us on their private boat so brushed them off. Finding anyone from the ferry office was quite diffi ... read more

Sophie & Dale are off.. we're taking a year or two off work, renting the house, found a foster home for Stuart (cat!) and are venturing out to the big wide world. There are too many places we want to see so we're going to attempt to see as many as them as possible and are going to keep on going until the funds run out. Hopefully that will be somewhere between one and two years but we'll see how it goes...
