So, apparently every time we leave Wicklow without an escort, the weather turns to pot. We did a trip to the west by car, going through stab city (aka Limerick) and stopping at Ennis. Great town and an even greater hostel: the Rowan Tree. Totally recommend it. Next day we headed off to see Bunratty Castle and its medieval village (great castle, village was a little crap), a bunch of abbeys as u ... read more
