We are now in lovely breezy sailing conditions - so much more pleasant. We crossed through the opened bridge at Khalidi (tidal currents of up to 7 knots) at midnight amongst all the other boats milling around waiting for the radio call from the coastguard. You can imagine the chaos. Stopped off at quite a few cute little places on route but nothing spectacular. Although we do get very excited abou ... read more

This blog is to keep our family and friends up-to-date with what we are up to in our nomadic life.
It all started when we left our London jobs to run a ski chalet in the French Alps in 1999. In 2000 we took our first trip aboard our yacht "Freedom" in the Mediterranean and have been sailing every summer to explore every coast. In 2006 we moved on from the chalet business to travel and find the worrld's special places. We found our house "Mango Lodge" in Dominica in 2008 and have spent a couple of years turning it into our special place. So here is a record of our travels since 2007...... full info
