We got up early to head for the new dam and Lake Nasser. The "old" dam was built by Sir W. Wilcock on behalf of the British authorities in 1898. It was constructed from granite quarried in the Aswan area and the official opening took place in 1902. Melissa Evans and Michele Anderson
I teach seventh grade science, and have been a teacher for 16 years. I am married and have two sons who keep me very busy. We own seven horses and my sons love to compete in western rodeo events. Michele and I work together and applied for a summer sabbatical to Egypt. Fund for Teachers approved our proposal, so we are off to Egypt for a trip of a lifetime.
