Xian - Terra Cotta Warriors

the main tourist attraction in Xian is the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. these are life sized clay statues of soldiers, each diffrent dating from 200BC. they were found only in 1974. the site is huge as you can see (each figure is 1.8-2m high)
