Okay, we cheated... this photo was not taken in the butterfly house. This kinda mangy one was sitting near a waterfall. Have you ever tried to take photos of a butterfly?! Bit of a mission!
It's okay.. but we wouldn't rush back... May 25th 2006 Koh Sumui was a short stop-over for us before our flight back to Bangkok. Only spending two days on the island meant that we were only able to explore limited parts of the island.

A couple of mid 20 year olds, started this blog back in 2006. We left our homeland of New Zealand and set off on our trip of a lifetime.
These entries follow our travels from our New Zealand to London and back again. Total geeks - no Las Vegas or full moon parties here. We used '1001 Natural wonders' to plan our trips. Sometimes riding 5 hours on the back of a motorbike to see a waterfall or random rock formation.
Since arriving back home in New Zealand in 2011, travels haven't been much of a priority. The arrival of our amazing little baby has made us hang up our backpacks for a little... full info
