The Centre of All Things

Grand Central Station is pretty impressive, the enormous hall is filled with light from the huge windows, and the high roof features the signs of the zodiac (although they are set in a rather gross pastel green paint.) The subway below has ornate mosaics, as do most of the older stations on Manhattan.
