Times Square
Well, it's not actually a square, it's a triangle. Tightly surrounded by a mish-mash of buildings of all different heights and architectural styles, all with bright moving LCD displays. Hundreds of yellow cabs a minute were smokily raging around the traffic islands in the middle, and standing on them were an equal number of tourists with all manner of cameras, dazedly recording the sights for posterity. The unique thing about it is that this observation remains true no matter what time of day you visit. So much energy and confusion, how could one NOT love New York?!
