Day 159 Moscow is the capital and largest city in Russia, it has the largest metropolitan area in Europe and ranks among the largest urban areas in the world (7th largest) with a population of 17 million people. RTW Trip 2009
We are leaving on January 27th with our rucksacks and travelling for 6 months, returning on 11th July. Below is our itinerary and we hope to update an Internet Travel Blog and include the web address below if you want to follow us around the world. 27th January - Fly to Lima - Peru We will spend a couple of weeks in Peru staying at a desert retreat and getting a train up Machu Picchu to following the Inca Trail.
