Buddhist monastery - Kara Korum

Kara Korum is the old capital of Mongolia. Sounded like a worthy stopping point but when we arrived there was nothing but the monastery. No sign of an old city.. Note Genghis Khan in the foreground (or Brian as his wife Kim calls him..)
