June 24, 2009 We decided to go back to the Penobscot Narrows Observatory today since it wasn’t open when we went by there on Sunday (on our way to Bar Harbor). Luckily for us it was open today so we got to go up to the observatory. It was fantastic. This type of bridge with an observatory is the only one on the American Continent (North and South).
