3 hrs drive saw us to San Diego - its really relaxed, lots of surf dudes and beach bunnies. We checked in to the Ocean Beach Hostel - spent the afternoon on the beach sleeping. Woke for the free BBQ at the hostel at six. Chatted to loads of people and made our way to a bar. Steve is twenty one in September - unfortunately that isn't good enough for state law and so we looked to see what else we ... read more

Nine years of travelblog, nine years of on and off travelling - I started TravelBlog to keep my family and friends in touch with my journey. I've updated the site from all four corners of the globe, and it's pretty much taken over my life now, that and diving.
I don't have any answers to any of the big questions, I don't really know what half the questions are. I do know that life isn't what you expect it to be.
