Well, alex and I couldn't think what to get Mum for her birthday, so we gave her a "voucher" entitling her to a mystery trip and picnic. We collected her at 9.30 this morning, and we drove the pretty way to Shrewsbury, where we had hot chocolate at the newly opened "battlefield farm shop".
