Hello: I was 60 in August 2005, and undertook, in October 2006, my first trip to the USA. This blog sets out the reasons why I am took the route that I did. I was unable to write too much about my trip till after I got back, nor did I expect to upload many pictures, either. After the USA, I went to Asia in 2007, and again in 2008: all three long-haul trips have been thoroughly enjoyable, and I am certainly hopeful that more trips will follow. Watch this space.
