Over the May Bank Holiday, we rode the GS up to the Summer Isles Hotel, 20 miles north of Ullapool, North West Scotland, covering around 1,400 miles in total. The idea was to check that the bike, our kit, and ourselves were going to be up to the job of dealing with the 400+ mile days that we will be encountering on our trip from Alaska to Argentina.
