Our brillaint idea to leave Melbourne on a Sunday backfired in a big way. The day chosen, the week before Easter was the day of Melbourne’s Fun Run. The Domain freeway tunnel as well as most of the city streets were closed. It took us seven hours to drive to Warrnabool instead of the four hours is would normally take.
