It was surprising how fast the water was flowing and how slippery it was - I would have laughed if he fell in!
Punakaiki and Pancake Rocks

Punakaiki 3rd - 6th April 2009 The drive along the West Coast was beautiful. A rugged coastline with very dramatic seas. We walked around the famous 'Pancake Rocks' which were very dramatic. The next day we went for a walk along the Pororari River which was brilliant. It reminded us of parts of Thailand - towering cliffs and lush tropical forest.
