The laddie sitting beside me on the plane says, "I saw Braveheart last week, is that what Scotland is like?". I muttered "of course!!" to myself, after all can't you see all the wee men running around in their criss crossed patterned skirts. A year off with no job, kids or mortgage. Just towering backpacks and each other. Where to? Southeast Asia sounds like a good place. But first we'll cross Canada from our home in Vancouver to Halifax. We'll make sure Elli the cat has a nice place to stay. Then it's on to Toronto for Xmas and Glasgow, Scotland for New Year.
