Day 34 Taupo We woke up to a brighter morning although the clouds still looked to have some rain. The first visit of the day was at Wai-O-Tapo an 18 sq km thermal area full of collapsed volcanic craters, bubbling mud pools and geysers. We are leaving on January 27th with our rucksacks and travelling for 6 months, returning on 11th July. Below is our itinerary and we hope to update an Internet Travel Blog and include the web address below if you want to follow us around the world. 27th January - Fly to Lima - Peru We will spend a couple of weeks in Peru staying at a desert retreat and getting a train up Machu Picchu to following the Inca Trail.
