swamp wallaby
Hi, I grew up in this area and we always referred to these wallabies as swamp wallabies. Also, my son is currently doing a project on Minnamurra Rainforest, which is part of the Buddaroo National Park, and through his research he has also found the Swamp Wallaby to be native to the area.
