Went to the coast to Oostduinkerke which is in between Dunkirk and the Netherlands for a day of fun and sun. The bad news is that it was very cold. The good news is that we had the beach to ourselves. Luckily, kids don't feel the pain of a cold ocean although a lot more time was spent burying each other in the sand than swimming. ... read more

Folkids of Vermont is a group based in Burlington,Vermont that performs traditional New England dances and songs. Each new group of 10-17 year olds learns dances that were popular in Vermont in the late 1800s and then performs them to audiences around the region. At the end of a session, which lasts about a year, we travel overseas to spend two to three weeks in another country sharing our dances and songs with them.
