I got picked up around about 7.30 am and we picked some more people from another hostel. We began out journey on the Ruta 40 (nothing special, just the suburbs of Mendoza) then we joined the Ruta 7 towards Chile. Our first stop, for a comfort break, was Uspallata, a village famed for Seven Years in Tibet movie and this was the village and the surrounding areas where the movie was made. We drove ... read more

My name is Dawn and I live Leeds, in the UK. I love travel and travel loves me!
I was in Argentina in at the end of January and most of February 2011 where I visited Buenos Aires and also travelled around Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia. In May that year I went on my first ever cruise where we sailed from Corfu Town up the Adriatic Sea visiting Montenegro, Slovenia, Italy and Croatia.
My next big trip is planned for December 2014 where I plan to travel around South America for six months!
