Monday 27th October,2008 The weather was quite nice today - typical as we were packing up. We left Mary’s. Before booking into our hotel, we drove to the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple. I am a "young" traveller from just outside of Canberra, the capital of Australia and have just recently retired. For the past several years I wanted to do some volunteer work in orphanages in Vietnam and this "dream" came true for me in 2006 and I returned again in 2007 to Vietnam and Thailand.
