In our last update, we were about to board a bus from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. On Tuesday, 7 October, we checked out of the guesthouse in Bangkok and headed to the train station. Our original plan was to take an overnight train in a first class sleeper to Chiang Mai. As it turns out all of the 1st class sleeper cabins were booked solid through the 12th and we did not desire to stay in Bangkok wa ... read more
