After waking up to a rainy day we decided to go nanzenji temple to see the zen garden (these are much prettier to see when it rains). On the way back we walked around yasaka-jinja and looked for some slopes which apparently take really good photos in the rain (we were'nt really that impressed) then took shelter from the rain in the hostel watching memoirs of a geisha-this is a brilliant film! ... read more
