Just a brief update: Had a lovely day in Moscow before boarding the plane for Irkutsk. Just as you might have imagined my airport (and i use that word with difficulty) pick up didn't arrive when i got to Irkutsk and nor did my hostel pick up the next day. The moral of the story is don't rely on others! The tour giude eventually phoned 3 hours late and arranged for me to be picked up at 1pm ... read more
