The ducklings are growing - and so far they have escaped the attentions of the hawks. The mother duck is VERY protective so maybe the hawks feel intimidated. The pond has been "invaded" by another breeding pair of ducks and the mother duck makes sure the new arrivals are kept right away from her territory and her babies!!!
