This is a sorting machine (moving left to right) that automatically weighs the cheese blocks and separates them into different lines if they are off. The center line is normal weight, and the one about to go onto the solid conveyer belt is off-weight.

In Crescent City, California, we took a detour from the 101 and took Highway 199 to Cave Junction, Oregon, in order to visit Oregon Caves National Monument.
