Looking for the "green flash"!

This is a picture of Playa Maderas, my favorite surfing beach in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. We tried to get there in the evenings to see the sunset and search for the illusive "green flash" (myth or reality?) that we'd heard tell about. The sunsets never disappointed! The Journey / Travel With Me: I live in Northern California. I drove, with my daughter, from California to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, where we lived for almost 2 years and taught Ashtanga Yoga at our small studio. We also drove back from Nicaragua to Connecticut and took our time exploring Mexico. We had many adventures, took lots of pictures, and met many wonderful people!
