House boats originated in times of the Raj. The then Maharajah banned the British from buying land in his kingdom, so, instead they replicated their salubrious living quarters on the water instead (nowadays complete with en-suite bathrooms).

Incredible India Arrival Delhi was hot, really hot and humid. At the airport the innumerable taxis appeared to be playing dodgems both with each other and/or any pedestrians that got in the way.
